Well
the world did not end in 2012!
I heard a joke which really had me thinking. One Aztec says to the other Aztec who is chiseling away on the calendar, "Why do you think that the world ends on Dec 2012? The Aztec replies "Oh, it does not end—I just ran out of room on the slate!"
I wanted to let you all know how 2012 ended for me.
First we all know that Jesus is in control of what happens in our lives. I trust HIM and am blessed to be in Mexico, but I was away for nearly 9 weeks. For those of you who know what happened my brother, thanks you for your prayers. For those who are not aware, my brother has been through horrible personal loss and he is still in recovery and seeking to live each day at a time. I was with him during this adjustment in his time of loss.
Now I am back and very happy to be here! Within a few days of my arrival home, I got a call from a sister who was one of the first ladies I met here in Mexico 22 years ago. I was delighted because I had been disciplining her last year and she wanted to continue, so we met the next day and had a wonderful time talking about the blessings of following the truth of the Lord.

Let me give you a little side
information for those of you who do not know. We at CDP want to be self sufficient
someday, and along with that goal, some very dedicated brethren have
come along side of us. For the past few years we have been developing a Ranch
of fruit trees and other produce. However, it all fell down and almost failed because of various reasons
which are sad but unnecessary to go into detail. But here is the best
part! I had never told my friend any details. However, she recalled it in a
prayer we had over three months ago and shared that prayer with her son. He had
just graduated and had gotten a certificate for working in agriculture.
So, he asked her if we would want him to help us for free as a service to the
LORD. The Lord answers prayers and now
he is in living in the ranch we call Piedra Vida, "LIVING STONE".1 Pe 2:4-5 To whom coming, [as unto] a living stone,
disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God and precious, Ye also as lively
stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up
spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
We are so excited
and looking forward to see how the Lord is going to use him for the next few months. I want to give Jesus all the praise and thank
you for coming along side of me and believing what the LORD is doing here in
Mexico.
I pray HE blesses
you as you bless me.

San Vicente,

I would like to pay tribute to our brother in Christ James
Schultz, who went home to be with Jesus on Nov 15 2012. I will miss him, but I
am also very jealous. He went home 1st. RIP my dear brother, love
you lots.
